My kit progress so far

I'm really busy working on the kit for Gryphon, I have most of the extras. And I already know which pattern to send and have yarn from my stash that will be perfect for it... and of course I'm already busy knitting on the handmade item, it's about halfway done.

I might post pics next week, too busy this week with getting everything done, packing my sons suitcase for 10 days with his grandparents and planning my 5 day vacation in the UK

Week 2 Begins

I hope everyone has had a great first week at summer camp and that you're working on the kit for your spoilee.  Remember to check in with me or post to the treehouse blog the progress you are making on your kit.  You don't have to be specific (since others may be reading our blog) but you can email me photos as a check in.

Make sure you check the main blog for this week's activity!  It's another fun one.

And, keep in mind that there will be weekly prize drawings.  You can get up to 3 entries each week...and the prizes are worth it!

Turnabout is Fair Play!

I think we need to do some mischief of our own after our Treehouse was TPed.  Let's put our heads together and see what we can come up with.  No one is safe in this game of camp pranks!

WEEKLY PRIZES

Hey all my fellow tree dwellers, did you know you can win a prize at Summer Camp?  There will be 2 prizes awarded each week.  All you have to do is:  1) post to your blog; 2) take part in the weekly activity; and 3) post to the treehouse blog and/or check in with me on your kit progress.  Yup, that's all you have to do!  Each time you do those 3 things, your name will be put into a drawing.  How easy is that?  (And, I have it on good authority that the prizes are worth working for!)

Our First Assignment

To make it easy for our spoilers to stalk us, let's take the time to update our profiles.  Be as inclusive as possible.  Here are some ideas of things we can add to our profiles:

Welcome to the TreeHouse

I'm so glad to see everyone!  I KNOW that we are going to have the bestest of times this summer.  If you haven't discovered it yet, we're having a Lovegood family reunion in the treehouse!  Some of my favorite cousins have decided to come to Summer Camp this year.  Thank goodness Cousin Thistle isn't here!

Make yourself at home!  There is a luxurious hammock for everyone.  If you don't like where it's placed, just move it!  (I assume you all have your wands at hand.)  And feel free to decorate your little corner of our Treehouse is your own unique way!  I'd love to see what you each come up with.
